"This unique class combines the joyous practice of laughter yoga with the calming practice of inner smile meditation for an experience that promotes wellness, reduces stress, and uplifts the spirit.
• Laughter Yoga: With this engaging practice, you will participate in group laughter exercises that aim to promote physical and mental wellness. Laughter yoga is based on the premise that laughter provides numerous health benefits, even when it’s forced. The session doesn’t involve traditional yoga poses but combines laughter with yogic breathing exercises (Pranayama). It encourages a childlike playfulness that helps to stimulate laughter in a group environment. The session aims to boost mood, reduce stress and anxiety, strengthen the immune system, and enhance oxygen intake and blood flow, mimicking the effects of real, hearty laughter.
• Inner Smile Meditation: Following the laughter yoga session, the class transitions into a peaceful inner smile meditation. This form of meditation involves visualization techniques to cultivate inner peace, balance, and happiness. Inner smile meditation encourages you to focus on the act of smiling inwardly to each part of your body, promoting a sense of gratitude and love towards oneself.
